I was reading this the other day, and I just think it's such an awesome scripture, I love the fact that we can Delight God. I found it when searching for a different scripture, but finding this one was really great. I think it does us good to remember that God created us, and he wants to take delight in his creation. He may be sat up there surronded by thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousands, He may have a heavenly host singing his praise, but He still not only has time too, but actively desires to delight in our Praises and in our Lives. It's incomprehensible, so amazingly unbelievable and yet true, that God wants to take special delight in us, He wants to look down and rejoice. What a thought to go through your day with, thinking that somehow you can delight the Creator of all things. What an awesome idea that when we come to praise and worship Him, we can praise and worship to delight Him, we can offer something to him that will please Him, despite the fact that we are not worthy of the great grace He gives us, He can look down and delight when his people are doing his will, and when his people are lifting up his name. All of the word's in the world couldn't ever express how much we owe to Him, but the thought that we can in return for all He has done for us, delight him with our lives is one that is truly awesome.
