The One Day Live video is the first video from the passion movement which is gripping campuses around the United States of America. I am a great fan of the passion worship CD's and was really excited to see the release of a video on the same lines. The event took place on the 20th May 2000 and had over 30,000 attendee's. The students were gathered at Shelby Farms in Memphis with a host of speakers and worship leaders. The worship was led by Chris Tomlin, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman, Christy Nockels, Shelly Nirider and more.
The video is however, to my surprise mainly a video about passion and the event and vision of the passion ministries more than the worship aspect of it. The students give their reasons for coming to the event and the event organiser Louis Giglio tells why the event was organised and their plans for it. The video has quite extensive footage of Louis speaking, with clips from his different words throughout the day. There is also different words from some of the other speakers such as John Piper. There are brief worship clips from Chris Tomlin, Christy Nockels and Shelley Nirider mixed in with the speaking and music from the events plays often in the background. Toward the end of the video we see "We Fall Down" performed at the event in both English and Setswana (The national language of Botswana) Louis then phones the campus in Botswana who were having a simultaneous meeting and they joined together in song.
I thought that it was a very good video showing you about the Passion ministry, however if you are looking for a worship video this is mainly speaking about the event and its vision, so although it has some worship it is not particularly a worship video.
