Well Guys we really are good to you, you can read here our exclusive interview with Worship City Praise and former Sonicflood worship leader Jeff Deyo.

1- Jeff you have recently left top worship band Sonicflood to join Worshipcitypraise, could you tell us a little about worshipcitypraise please?
WorshipCityPraise is a monthly gathering of God's people of all races, ages, and denominations in Nashville, TN that seeks the transformation of our city and the surrounding areas through worship and prayer. This gathering is not meant to replace normal church gatherings in that our only real goal is to seek God for the changing of our city with a 2 Chronicles 7:14 mindset.

2- Will their be worship CDs available from the Worshipcitypraise events?
At this point we have not made worship CD's available at WCP, but we will soon do that in order to provide more resources for worshipers.

3- Will you still be working with the sonicflood guys at any time?
We will probably not be working together in the future. The guys in SF and I are going our separate ways with somewhat different visions. They will be continuing to travel and I will split my time between Nashville and the rest of the world.

4- What would be your main piece of advise for young worship leaders?
The idea that helps me the most is understanding that as a worship leader our job is not to get people to sing, but rather to worship God ourselves in order that some might follow our lead. A term I like to use instead of Worship Leader is Lead Worshiper.

5- Do you think there is any chance of Worship City Praise performing outsideof Nashville?
Myself and the WCP Band have and will continue to lead worship concerts around the world as the Lord directs us.

6- How are the meetings going with Worshipcitypraise so far?
God is beginning to rebuild WCP after its name change from SONICPRAISe and after the SONICFLOOd guys disassociated themselves with the gathering. We are VERY excited about what God will do. It is in His hands. If He is with us (and we believe that He is), WCP will continue to grow as more people come together to pray for unity and transformation in Nashville.

7- Do you write some of your own material?
I wrote the majority of the 4 original songs on the SF record, and yes, I will continue to write more songs for WCP gatherings and other things as well. I have recently "performed" a song on the CD coming out in August 2000 alongside the Max Lucado book "He Chose The Nails" entitled "These Hands." It will be released as the first radio single in late July 2000.

8- What was the last CD you purchased?
Probably the second Passion worship CD.
