"Yes, Lord, walking in the way of Your Truth, we wait eagerly for You, for Your name and Your renown are the desire of our souls."

The Passion movement started ten years ago with Isaiah 26:8 as it's manifesto and has since reached out to hundred of thousands of students and worshippers around the world. This album records the first ten years of the movement.

It's no secret that the Passion movement has given me some of my favourite albums and songs over the years, and all of their releases are very much looked forward too hear, so I was pretty excited to hear that there would be a best of album. I'm normally very sceptical about worship compilations because you end up with the same songs dozens of times, however this is different as it reflects the journey of the Passion movement and contains thirty songs that are a relevant today as they were when first recorded. The song selection is excellent, avoiding some of those which have already been on hundreds of compilations (so no Here I am to Worship or I Could Sing of Your Love Forever!) and presenting the very cream of the Passion recordings so far. The album sleeve contains a note about each song, giving background and the kind of information that can't fail to leave the listener with a better understanding of the song and the moment of worship that it captures. I think these album notes, and the fact that it groups so many good tracks on one collection make this album a must have even if you already own the Passion albums, and for those who don't have any or are missing one or two (seriously, who has that copy of the original 98 release we used to have? Where did it get too?) it's a really good collection of songs, the best Worship compilation on the market at the moment and a resource ready to be mined for songs for church worship, if you're not already singing them.

(If you do go to pick it up, European listeners will want to look for a different cover to the one pictured, as we get a silver cover instead of the orange.)
